Goal setting
Here at Snowy River Campus, we are setting ourselves 3 goals, making sure it follows the 'SMARTER' guidelines, and those 3 goals fall under different topics.
SMARTER Guideline
SMARTER stands for
Specific - so we know exactly what we are working towards, and don't get off track.
Measurable - so we set a goal that we can put in stages, or even just to see how far we personally have to push ourselves.
Achievable - looking at our abilities, and what we can, or will be able to do, and set it so we are pushing ourselves, but not making our goal out of our reach.
Realistic - for us to see if it physically possible to accomplish; if our goals can actually be done.
Time-specific - so we can push ourselves to complete our goals within a certain time.
Enthusiastic - without enthusiasm for our goal, we wouldn't want to complete it.
Reviewed - to see if there is anything we will need to work hard on, and if we stumbled once, we can see what we need to improve on.
These help create an achievable goal, that we can do in a specific time frame, but even if it doesn't work out the first time, we can review it and see what we can improve on.
