Quote of the Day: “A leader is someone who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way” – John C Maxwell
Evening:
Last night for evening class, we had another Passport class. Here we got to finish setting our new goals, post our Before SSL – which will all be up soon for me – write up our Learning Journey (where we write about how classes help develop one of our 7 sections in our Passport) and start thinking about evidence we can add for our second set of goals.
Today:
Our first class of the day was Photography. Mr. David Tatnall (who did a small presentation on photography a few nights ago) helped us with this lesson. The cameras that we used to take photos were SLR (single-lensed reflective) film cameras. We went out to the beach, and from there we could go off and take different photos, using different techniques he told us about – zooming in on certain areas, or using certain angles. I found this lesson really enjoyable and found it significantly interesting how you can take a great photo out of a fairly boring scene, by just getting the camera at an interesting angle.
For afternoon class, we were meant to go surfing, but unfortunately, the waves were deemed unsuitable, so the lesson had to be postponed. Instead, we had Personal Prep. I used this time to catch up a bit on my passport, and edit my Weebly.
Feedback Friday:

Laura had been great this week, and she been getting all her work done. She had been very supportive to the team when out doing things. She was great at caving with making sure the group was going good and if someone was not going so good she would put them in a positive mood to keep them going.
What Laura could work on taking a step back when she feels overwhelmed and not be a bit moody when people are having a discussion about things she is not happy about.
Great job with everything else!!
