During morning and afternoon class, my expo group (1B) did an activity called 'Bridge Building'. As explained by the title given, we had to attempt to make a bridge to get 'cargo'/'treasure' from an old kayak they - our liaison teachers - put about 3 metres from the shore. It didn't seem too difficult until they told us we weren't allowed to touch the water at all or else we'd get a 2 minute penalty. Most of the information about today is located in outdoor experiences ^-^
During evening class, we had to make a small, 2 minute presentation on a topic of the teachers' choosing - in our group's case it was about tick prevention. We had a short amount of time to prepare it, and then we would present it in front of the rest of the groups. When we were presenting our information, I personally didn't feel very nervous since we went over our information quite a bit before we had to get up and present our findings. Since we shared the information out to all our team members, it was quite easy to fill up the 2 minutes.
Thankful Thursday:
This week I'm mainly thankful for meeting so many new people, and making a few new friends here at the Snowy River Campus.
