Quote of the Day: “The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones” – William Faulkner
Evening:
For last night’s evening class, we had our third Movie Maker class. This time, I was able to join my teammates ad see what they did in the previous class, that I wasn’t able to be a part of. The movie is looking good, and it’s actually pretty funny. We had quite a difficult topic in comparison to others, and I think that we did well. We filmed a few other scenes, and our movie is basically done. We just need to add some narration, as well as maybe a soundtrack, and we are golden. (^-^)
Today:
For morning class today, 1B had surfing. We were originally going to do our afternoon class first, but it was changed last minute, so we had little time to get ready. Once we were, we went out, and surfed. The weather was really nice today, and the waves weren’t as choppy as last lessons. It was a little difficult to stand up on my board at the start, and it was because I didn’t have enough push, so the wave didn’t carry me as far. Once the surf instructor gave me a tip though, I stood up quite easily, and managed to manoeuvre it a couple of times. As always, this surf class was really enjoyable.
For afternoon class, we had Tai-chi. This lesson was hosted by Mrs Morton, and she taught us a few moves, as well as described what Tai-chi was all about. This was a really interesting lesson, and I had a lot of fun. The moves taught us not to use brute strength, but rather use the opponent’s strength against them. Throughout this whole class, all I could think of though, was that I looked like a waterbender from “Avatar: The Last Airbender: The legend of Aang”. I felt truly special at that moment, and that thought made me enjoy the class even more.

Laura had been great this week. She has been very helpful in many ways with all things we do in our group. She did great on the whole day bike ride, making sure that everyone was good and positive. Today Laura was great Tai Chi and surfing, helping other out when they need it. Great job!!
To work on is stay calm when the group is doing things to together.
