Quote of the Day: “To climb steep hills requires a slow pace first.” – Shakespeare
Evening:
For last night’s evening class, we had CLP Changeovers. In this class, we practiced how CLP Day (which is tomorrow) will run, and what order each school is presenting. We also ran through what the Student Leaders and MCs were going to be doing/saying between each performance. The music performances were there too, but everything was just a brief run through, without doing the actual presentations.
Today:
For today’s morning class was CLP 8. In this lesson we finished and rehearsed our presentation, taking into consideration the feedback that was given to us by teachers the previous day. We finished our PowerPoint presentation that will be running in the background, and made sure that everyone knew what they were doing through the presentation. We edited our script too.
Our team found that our script seemed a bit – lack of a better word – boring, so we added some humour into it. Because of this, we had to move some of the things we were saying around a bit, but everything seemed to have worked out okay.
For afternoon class, we also had the CLP Dress Rehearsal. We arranged the room to how it will be arranged tomorrow, and what it was like yesterday. Thanks to the CLP Changeovers class yesterday, everyone knew where they were sitting, and when to go up. Here, we ran through all the presentations, and checked if everything that is/will be needed for the presentations was there. People in the CLP Committee also figured out what they had to do to help set up for the performances/presentations.
Everything seems to be coming together now, and I am less worried about the MWSC presentation now. We still need to practice – because practice makes perfect – but everything is under control. I will continue rehearsing the song I am performing tomorrow, but overall, I am sure everything will be fine (hopefully) (^-^).
Thankful Thursday:

Thankful Thursday:
The top things that I am thankful for today are:
- That I am being given the opportunity to create a project that will benefit my community back home.
- That I have made some good friends through this program, that I will be able to keep in contact with.
- That I have had such a great time here, made memories I will remember, and I will soon be able to see my friends back home
- This one adds on from the last one, but I will be able to soon, see my cat. She is great. Because she is a cat.
